Spotify App will play no music on Windows 11

My Question or Issue

My downloaded app will not play any music (streams) at all.  I can play from the website with no issues.  

I have uninstalled, reinstalled, reloaded windows, checked for drivers, none of which resolve the issue.

We're seeing some recent reports about the desktop app not playing certain artists, specifically the songs 'Popular' section on artist profiles here. Could you confirm if that's the case for you too & if this is the only place you're having this issue? Or does playing a song/album/playlist from Search or Your Library also result in the same behavior?

If the issue isn't isolated to just artists / 'Popular' section on the artist page, and you're also seeing playback-related error messages, I'd recommend checking out this article for some additional troubleshooting steps you can try, like changing your audio output device's sample rate and disabling any audio-enhancing settings/software temporarily.
