Spotify Application Not Responding

My Question or Issue

The spotify app on my PC is not responding, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but now I have a new issue, the app won't install, it says that the files are still being used or something despite me having uninstalled the damn app.

Just to confirm, have you tried a clean reinstall instead of the regular one? We recommend uninstalling the app following the steps in this article as it'll remove the old drivers. It'd also be great if you restart your PC once you finish the uninstallation process. After that you should be able to install the app again. 

On another note, can you let us know which source you used to download Desktop App? If you have downloaded from the Windows Apps store, could you try getting it from our web site and vice versa?
