Spotify Overlay not showing when skipping songs

Hello whenever I am in Valorant and skip songs/pause songs the overlay on the top left doesn't show up however when I play in windowed fullscreen it shows up, it never use to do this.

Could you confirm that in all other instances the Desktop overlay works as intended? Have you tried disabling the overlay and reenabling it again? This option can be found in the settings menu under Display Options.

If that doesn't do the trick, it's possible that some of the apps files have gotten corrupted. This is usually resolved by performing a clean reinstall. You can find the necessary steps here.
