Spotify Plays Local File that's different to the Streamed File

I am a premium user, yet Spotify prevents me from listening to a streamed file, since it believes I have a similar file in my iTunes library. 

The track in question shares song title and artist name, as well as the track length, yet it is a totally different version of the song I am trying to stream.

Apparently, it is possible to 'unlink' the track somehow in the desktop version, yet I cannot seem to find any options for that.

In my settings, I have local files all disabled, but Spotify does show local files in its search results. 

Renaming the file in iTunes and restarting Spotify does not seem to make a difference....
