Spotify Weekly Not Giving Me relevant Songs

My Question or Issue

 For the past three couple of months, my Spotify weekly has given me songs from a genre that I only listened to months ago. Since I used to listen to that genre, I've listened to many variations of a completely different genre, example: Future Bass, House, Tropical House, Future House, General Electronic etc. I haven't had a relevant Spotify weekly on months. Anything helps, thanks.

The best advise I can give is hitting the "Don't like" button on songs of that genre you don't want to hear anymore. This should force the algorithm to rethink your musical choices. 🙂

I used to listen to downtempo a whole lot in the past and it still 'haunts' me a little bit to a lesser extent, but I can assure you, once you've listened to something completely different a whole lot as well, it will take that genre into consideration as well.

You can check out the Daily Mixes. These are also mainly genre-based, so if there is one that you don't like, there should also be those covering the genres you wish to listen to.
