My Question or Issue
When my microphone is turned on, it won't allow me to play music. It's weird and I don't know how to fix it.
Thanks in advance.
Hey @CalebR123 - help's here!
First off, do you mind performing a clean reinstall of the app on your device by following the relevant steps in this Spotify Answer?
If that doesn't work for you, do you mind providing us with a bit more info:
Also, could you let us know how exactly connecting the microphone is affecting playback on Spotify? For example, does your music pause, or does it show as playing but without any sound?
Thanks - keep us posted!
I performed a clean reinstall, it did not fix the problem.

The microphone is the built-in microphone on the computer, and it only happens when I connect my headphones, which are Bluetooth headphones. The headphones are Sony's MDR-ZX770BN. I also have to add that it works until a sound from another tab plays. After a sound plays, Spotify stops playing but keeps saying that it's playing. This may be a problem with the settings from my computer, or a problem with the headphones, but it could also be a Spotify problem, and I don't really know.
I hope this helps and that you can now answer my question more in-depth.
Edit: I now know that it is a Spotify problem because the headphones pick up both Discord and a game at the same time, so it is capable of playing multiple tab's sounds at once.
I have a similar problem, I think. Spotify pauses playback (and brings up the mini-player, which I hadn't seen before) when I push the hardware mute button on my microphone.
