Spotify can't play this right now notification when playing on Desktop app

"Spotify can't play this right now. If you have the file on your computer import it" notification pops up when I try to play anything on my Desktop app. I tried to fix it and restart it through windows, reinstall it completely and reboot my computer but it didn't work.

Thanks for posting in the Community.

Kudos for trying those troubleshooting steps already. As a next step, can you please check your Windows hosts file for any lines containing Spotify? Here's a guide how to do it.
