Spotify crashing shortly after launch, then becomes unkillable task. (Win7)

I have been having this problem for sometime now, on multiple updates. It is quite random though, meaning that it doesn't always happen. Basically Spotify will start up like normal and it will allow me to play music for about a minute then the music will just end. After trying to quit out of Spotify the program becomes frozen and I have to close it with the help of Windows. I am then unable to reopen it as it says "Spotify is already running, but not responding. Please close it and try again." After that my only hope is to restart the computer and hope it doesn't do it again when I start it up because I can't kill the task.

Has anyone else had this problem and is there a real solution to it yet?
