Spotify doesn't download saved songs folder on PC

Spotify doesn't download saved songs folder on PC

I dont know if it's the update but I cant download the entire Songs folder. There's no download button or whatsoever. The music from downloaded playlists are only the ones that are available offline. Is there any way I can download the Songs folder?

Hey @chocoleigh! Welcome to the Spotify Community!

Allow me to quote an old answer from a Community member.

' Save ' simply means that you marked an album or pre-made playlist (playlist of someone else, i.e. one that you have not created yourself) as a selected favourite in your Your Music. It is not downloaded for offline use just by the act of clicking on ' Save '.

' Available Offline ' will initate download to an individual device. I.e. you can flip the slider switch for an album or playlist (or individual song or all Songs) to ' Available Offline ' on a single device linked to your Spotify account, but the download is only to that device.

So, to have your saved songs downloaded, you need to move them to a playlist!

If there is anything else I can do for you, please let me know!

Hope you bring that back. 😕 I love just saving random songs and download them all without creating a playlist. Otherwise, what's the point of the Songs playlist if we have to make another similar playlist just so we can download them?

The thing is you are not making a playlist per se, Songs is intended more to archieve your favorite songs throught the time unlike common playlists where you are used to save your favorite songs for specific moments!

Hope I was of use 🙂
