Hey @VanishBlox 

 

This is most probably an issue with default audio outputs, audio drivers or related software.

 

Here is the relevant Issue thread. I recommend checking out the Status Update for what you can try and add your vote to the Issue.

 

I recently helped another user who had the same issue when using their external audio interface. I suggested disabling DSP mode, and they went and downloaded the soundcard desktop app, installing of which ended up fixing the issue for them.

So if you have a soundcard like a Xonar or something else, please check you have installed everything relevant to it, and try disabling DSP mode if necessary.

 

Also ensure Windows has the right audio output assigned to Spotify.
Here's how to check:

1. Right-click on the speaker icon on your system tray
2. Select 'Open Sound Settings'

3. Scroll down to 'Other Sound Options' to click on 'App Volume And Device Preferences'.

That's it! Here you can choose what output Spotify should use. Windows will remember these settings.
