Found the issue, I am using a Docking station with my Dell Latitude laptop to run multiple screens and some accessories. The Docking station has it's own power supply and apparently was causing Spotify to crash. Once I unplugged from it and powered it off for a few minutes the issue went away.
Thank you for the help.
Problem solved
Hiya Gress,
I'm sorry to hear that you've already tried several troubleshooting steps and are still experiencing issues with Spotify on your desktop. Here are some additional tricks up my sleeve you should try:
Make sure your graphics card drivers are up to date:
Disable hardware acceleration in Spotify:
Disable third-party plug-ins:
Run the app in compatibility mode:
Try running Spotify as an administrator:
If none of these steps work, you may want to consider uninstalling Spotify completely and then reinstalling it. If the issue persists, you may need to contact Spotify's customer support for further assistance.
Keep me posted homeslice,
