Spotify playback keeps pausing\stopping, tried various devices

Hi. This behaviour just started yesterday. Spotify will stop\pause songs. It can take up to 10 seconds before pressing the play button will allow music to continue. I have tested this on my W7 laptop and Android phone: same behaviour. It also happens if I use 4G or my wireless internet connection: so doesn't seem to be a connectivity issue. Any ideas? Obviously it's driving me crazy..

OK, this is absolutely doing my head in now. I can get between 5-15 minutes of rmusic before it pauses again. I pay for premium, but it's almost like it's pausing for adverts that don't actually play. I connect using Spotify Connect, but also tried bluetooth connection to a different wireless sound system than my usual, same issue. Reinstalled on W7 and Android, no change. From those diagnostics it seems like an issue with my actual account.

Nobody else has ever seen this apparently (?). Anyway, after abut a week it just resolved itself. No clue what the issue or resolution was, sorry.
