Spotify response time is ridiculously long

Just lately spotify response time to my 'commands' was delayed to 20 second until the action is occuring :
lets say : pressing play/getting into a playlist/moving the timebar of the song - a 20 sec delay till it occur 

anything i can do to solve it? 
i've tried reinstalling - didn't help
windows 10 user.

Another ongoing/frequently reported issue. They'll tell you to uninstall/reinstall the app, log out/log back in, or delete the contents of certain folders on your hard drive to solve this but these are only band-aids. The problem usually comes back. Spotify just needs to fix this s*** instead of all these annoying workarounds. If you search this forum for "spotify slow" you will find other threads with the so-called solutions.
