Spotify starts playing after a while when it is paused, can't make it stop

My Question or Issue

I have an IP telephone system called Dstny.

When I use Spotify, playing a song, it pauses when I get a call. When I answer, doesn't matter if I press on the headset or the answer button on the Ip- telephone app, Spotify starts playing the song again. The next problem is that I can't turn it off, Spotify is in pause mode acc. to the play/pause button. I have to close Spotify to make it stop. Really annoying.

Relaized that it's the same thing when I have paused Spotify and run the test sound for the speakers in Windows sound settings. Suddenly, not always, Spotify starts playing.

Same issue for me. When I get a call in Dstny spotify start playing, even if I never started it, and it can only be stopped by opening Task Manager and kill one of all the spotify processes. 

Same thing happen from time to time when doing settings stuff in Windows. Don't have a good example now, but it's not 100% connected to Dstny.

We'd recommend trying to install the app from our website here, instead from the Widows Store. Before that we'd also recommend following the steps here under Windows to make sure you've removed the app fully.

If the issue persists, could you let us know if this behavior happens persistently only with the Dstny system?

I am also having the same issue, when starting a call with Dstny, Spotify starts playing music and cannot be stopped unless killed through the Task Manager. I already tried the proposed fix of uninstalling and installing per the link above. Is there anything else I can do to fix this issue? Thank you in advance.
