Spotify technical issues, app is crashing

I liked spotify for a while, but the technical problems are too much to bear at this point. Both the Windows desktop app and the Android phone app have so many bugs, from song titles not matching up to the song that's playing, having to kill the process to stop music from playing even after exiting the app, duplicating playlists when you try to add songs to them, plus they BOTH crash every other day. Literally, my desktop app has crashed 4 times in the past 2 days. It will keep playing music, and the interface responds, but nothing shows up in the main window, so I can't select any music. Every time, I have to kill it and open it again, and then it works fine. When I go search for these issues, the threads are from years ago, describing the same issue, and marked as "resolved" with all these replies saying that it hasn't been resolved. Anyways, It took way too **bleep** long to figure out how to even post a complaint, they always want to defer you to chat so your issues won't be public. This post is to tell you that your fears are not unfounded, spotify app really is terrible, there appears to be no progress in fixing it, and google play costs the same but also gets you youtube red. There are online services to transfer your playlists from spotify to google. This is a PSA for anyone who thought "Maybe I'll just put up with it for a little while longer" like I did. There's no point, find a couple hours to chill out and cancel this subscription, switch it over to google play, and quit giving this company your money.
