Spotify will not work at all on pc

My Question or Issue

So about a week ago i uninstalled spotify due to a bug where only certain songs would play. So i then reinstalled it and now songs will not apear at all, this is the case in spotify created playlists and user created playlists. So i tried reinstalling again, clearing cache and trying spotify web player. However when i try the web player the songs appear but they do not play at all, there is not even an indication that the song is playing. I hit play and there is no change in the ui or anything. So im completely lost on how to fix this issue.

Hey there @Mud50000 !

The issue you are experiencing with the desktop app is a known one and Spotify is investigating the issue. There is an open issue about this here where you can track it and vote for it so it catches more attention. There is a workaround described there which seems to be fixing the issue for most of the users. I hope this will get fixed on Spotify's end soon.
