Spotify windows app crashes when internet is temporarily lost

My Question or Issue

Every time I lose the internet connection on my device, the app crashes (see attached image) and won't be able to connect again even after the connection is restored.
One would assume that the application would be able to work normally when there is an internet connection but that is not the case.

I have to close the application and reopen it every time I lose the internet connection. This is very inconvenient especially when you advertise that the app should work offline as well.

I would recommend a clean install of the Spotify app. You can find the how-to guide here. Once that is done, please check if the issue persists and help me with the following info.

1. Your Spotify app version. You can find it in the top left 3 dots menu. Under Help -> About Spotify.
2. Does this happen if you start the app with offline mode already enabled?
3. Is this happening only on the Windows desktop app? Please try the same on your mobile app and other devices to check if the issue is there or not.
