Spotify windows app need help deleting recently played album/playlist

My Question or Issue

I'm trying to delete an album/playlist from in recently played from my home page but it doesn't work. I tried deleting it using the left hand tab under "Your Library > Recently Played", but the deleted song still shows under the recently played section  on the home page. Any help appreciated.

It's known issue that has been going for over 5 months and still hasn't been fixed.

Ahhh, I see, a pre-existing issue that Spotify refuses to address. That explains alot.
