Spotify without Websockets

Hello, I am having trouble accessing Spotify at work. With both the web and desktop players, the "logging in..." window just spins forever without any progress.

I contacted IT here and they informed me that Spotify is blocked since it uses Websocktes which are blocked for security reasons. Is there any Spotify player that does not use websockets?
