Spotify won't play or add music on deskptop

I also use my phone and spotfiy web browser at school

Question: Recently after shutting down my computer and listenign to music away from it. After returning to the computer and booting it back up spotfiy refuses to add music or play new music that is not favorited. I'm growing sick and tired of having to install and reinstally spotfiy everyday.

check your hosts file (should be located in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc ) and remove anything with "spotify" in the url from said file. you will receive advertisements if you do not have premium, but there are third party ad blockers if you google around
