Spotify won't reconnect after my internet comes back up

For some unknown reason my internet goes down sometimes, and when it comes back up everything except Spotify work as normal. Restarting Spotify won't work, everything is still greyed out and can't be played. I've tried going offline in Spotify and online again, and also logging out and logging back in but neither of those is working either. The only thing that works is restarting my computer. I'd _very_ much prefer not having to do so just to get Spotify running again, so could you please fix this reconnecting issue? 🙂

Thanks for reaching out and kudos for the troubleshooting you've tried so far!

Could you check if clearing saved cache from the app makes any difference? Another option is to do a clean reinstall. This will clear cache too, as well as ensure that you're running the latest app version.

If that doesn't do the trick, could you let us know if this only happens with this specific computer? Or does it also happen with other devices that you use Spotify on?

If possible, we suggest trying another internet connection as well, to see if you encounter the same issue.
