Spotify won't stop opening with windows.

My Question or Issue

 I disabled Spotify startup in the advanced settings and removed it from window's startup list, but it keeps appearing when I boot up my PC. What can I do about it? Why is this still an issue, after who knows how many years?

Hi! Disable this Windows 10 option

Windows(!) Settings > Accounts > Sign-In Options > Privacy
Then set "Use my sign-in info to automatically finish setting up my device after an update or restart." to Off.

 This disables re-opening any application that you had open when you shutdown/rebooted your system.

That works!

Although Spotify was actually not running (at least not visibly) when I shut down the PC and it still restarted, so it would be nice to have the windows option still enabled for other programs.
