Spotify won't work on Windows 10

I've been trying to install Spotify on my new laptop for several days now, without success. I've tried both the app store and the webpage. When I install Spotify, it opens as an empty black box with no content. Yesterday I managed to install it correctly from the app store and thought it worked but today it opens as an empty shell again. I've deleted and reinstalled the app several times, restarted the computer, restarted the router, but nothing seems to work. Any ideas on what I could try next?

By the way, I have Spotify premium but for some reason this page now says "regular".
