My Question or Issue When logged in and playing music on Spotify I get a periodic squelch sound. It happens randomly every one to ten minutes. Sometimes more, sometimes less. The squelch lasts for under a second. I use a Dell laptop and run Windows 10. It is very annoying. When on my android phone no issues what so ever. I have read and tried changing settings from the message board with no luck. I have the app downloaded to my laptop and squelching occurs. I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled. I have uninstalled the app and played music by logging into the website without the app and still get squelching. I love Spotify but cannot go on paying if my jams are getting squelched. Any help would be greatly appreciated. FYI I'm a computer novice.

Hi there @Robert319,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community and welcome!

Since this happens in both the app and the web player on your laptop, but it's ok on the mobile app, there must be something causing this interference in the laptop itself. Can you let us know if the audio is being played from the laptop's speakers or if you're using external speakers, either wired or via Bluetooth?

Also, can you confirm if you followed these steps when reinstalling the app? Those are for a clean reinstall, which is very thorough and can help removing any corrupted files that might be causing trouble. We also suggest downloading the app from the Microsoft Store.

Keep us posted. We'll be on the lookout.
