My Question or Issue
When i launch the program and start a song right away, it will start playing for 2-3 seconds and then i get a loop and second 2-3 are played again, but the song will not start completely from the beginning, then it plays normally and so do all songs afterwards.
except if i choose another playlist for example and start another song manually, then it will happen again.
but also not always, sometimes it works sometimes not.
never seen this problem before, until i updated the porgram today.
is this a known issue? i couldnt find anything.

Hey Everyone!!! I've fixed this issue on my own (because I was tired of waiting for the dev. team, and was like 99% sure it was a bug with the new update), so if y'all are still having this issue, take a look at this video that I followed. An update date that you can download that works are the February of 2022 ones, I think it's somewhere in January that the bug appeared. This tutorial works with no problems I've encountered as of yet, and this video is great because it allows you to undo this (not my video). Hey, to anyone who is having this same issue, I ""solved"" it here.
1. Uninstall your Spotify and delete any Spotify archives you have in your desktop (if you still have any - I didn't - )
2. Install it again but from the Microsoft Store
It's important to uninstall the version you have before installing the Microsoft Store version (I didn't do it at first and the error was still occurring when I opened the Microsoft Store version).
I cannot guarantee that it will work but it did here, so I hope it helps until they solve this 🙂
To any dev who is going to solve this: probably the issue is occurring just in the Spotify Website version because when I uninstalled and re-installed the website version the issue persisted
Skipping like crazy on Win10 app, works fine on Android phone and web player. So frustrating.
Having the same issue here from China
the loop will also occur when your listening to the song on loop which is bothersome for someone like me who likes to listen to songs on loop.

i've been experiencing the same problem. all the songs repeat themselves at about 0:06 for 3 - 4 times & it happens to all the songs in all my playlists. i would really appreciate if you could fix it somehow :'-)

oh gee, i thought i was the only one here!! was about to make a similar post, i downloaded spotify off the microsoft store though so i don't know if that counts for much.
Same problem, thanks for clarifying this, it's good to know I'm not the only one experiencing this. It's kind of irritating honestly, like you're so relaxed, but THEN the beginning of the song repeats. Anyways, I hope they recover this issue further because it seems like even reinstalling the application or doing whatever doesn't fix anything—hope this issue gets fixed soon!
I have the same issue and it's really annoying, it only happens to me when I voluntarily click on a song, or even when I put a song on repeat. I've had this for a little while and it's really annoying
Yeah mate, I've been experiencing this problem since quite a while now, like 1-2 months.
Spotify should reach to this problem and fix asap as it's very irritating.

In this case, could you tell us if this is happening with songs you haven't liked yet? Additionally, send us over the make/model, OS version of your device and let us know if the issue started after a recent update.
Also, can you let us know if the same happens in the web player?

Dear Spotify, you force me to find older version of Spotify and find solution online. Which I need to block newer update to avoid installing broken update (1.1.81.604.gccacfc8c and 1.1.82.758.g8b7b66c7) .. its started with this version Spotify for Windows 1.1.81.604.gccacfc8c and really **bleep** me off this bugs not even fixed in latest March update Spotify for Windows 1.1.82.758.g8b7b66c7. So glad I cancel my premium subscription, not worth at all for paying broken app with bugs, this bugs prevent me to subscribe to premium again after my Apple Music Trial 3 month is ending. Fix this bugs and I will subscribe as premium member again. Thanks
