Stuck on random mode

My Spotify app is stuck on random mode for Liked Songs. (Yes, I know there's a button for that)--even if I click the button to turn random mode on or off, it still will only play my Liked Songs on random.

I want to play them in sequence, but it refuses. A bug, or designed this (shitty) way?

Okay, I had the same problem, but with an iPhone and a Mac. If a podcast or song ended, it would play favorite songs. The problem was cross platform; that is, it was tied to my account somehow and existed on all Spotify apps on all of my devices. I don't think it is a random feature, which is why turning the random button off and on doesn't work.

I went and looked at the queue and noticed that further on down, the tracks of the album I was listening to appeared in order. So I skipped forward about 12 tracks and ran them out of my queue, and now it appears as normal.
