My Question or Issue

Every time I try to open the app on my laptop, the following message pops up: "The Spotify Application is Not Responding". I first ignored it, hoping it would fix itself after a restart of my computer etc. but the issue remains. I deleted the app to reinstall it, but the message pops up again.

Hey @merelvs - help's here!

 

First, could you try re-downloading the Spotify app from this link as opposed to the Windows Store?

 

If that doesn't work, then do you mind going to Task Manager > Spotify > End Task, and then re-opening the Spotify app and seeing if it works now?

 

If not, then could you check your firewall settings and make sure that Spotify is set as an exception?
