Trouble changing playlist picture

I do know how to change the playlist picture, however the problem is that it works fine until I close spotify. When I then open it up, the playlist picture is gone, and the old one has taken the place. Right now I've deleted the current playlist picture, in the hope that something wrong happened there. Is this a problem with a solution that any of you know of? If so, I would gladly accept any help that I could get!

Update, deleting the current playlist picture didn't help. I am legit being haunted by a Matthew Gray Gubler meme. Please help me, the meme is killing me.
