My Question or Issue
Since the latest update, where the layout has changed, I have several visual glitches on screen. It happens when I do anything, really: Skipping a song/a new song starting will give a white space, the queue is continuously showing the wrong songs when things play, if my laptop sleeps everything will need to update by putting my cursor over it.
It doesn't effect anything, it's just really annoying to keep seeing these random pieces of the screen strewn everywhere and having to run my cursor over the queue several times over to sort it out.
The 'screenshots' attached show what happens when new songs are played or if the laptop hasn't been touched in a short while. Again, it is a harmless glitch, I'm not sure whag has caused it (apart from the new updated layout).

Hey @KryptidKitten,
Thanks for reaching out about this.
We'd recommend you run a clean reinstall of the app. Please follow the exact steps in this Spotify guide.
After the app is re-installed go into Settings and switch Hardware acceleration OFF.
Let us know how things look afterwards.
Cheers.

Yes, this seems to fix it! Thank you for that, mate 😄
You're welcome @KryptidKitten,
Glad to hear everything works fine now.
Don't hesitate to reach out again if you have questions or need help 🙂
The Re-Install didn't fix it for me. Any other ideas?
Hey @JaywalkerHB,
Thanks for reaching out here in the Community.
Would you mind letting us know your device's make, model, OS version and the Spotify version you're currently running?
It would also be helpful to have a video where we can take a better look at the glitches. You can send a link to it or attach it using the Insert Video option in the post editor.
We'll be on the lookout for your reply.
hi! apologies if i'm not supposed to be replying to this thread, but it was the only one i saw open related to this issue!
you asked for a video of the glitches and it looks like it wasn't provided; however, i've been having this issue as well (reinstalling didn't fix it, but closing the app and reopening it does. like OP said, it's harmless, just mildly annoying) and i got a video of the glitches happening!! for some reason cannot attach the video to this reply, however i uploaded it to youtube LOL
hopefully this helps out!!

Hey @laglite,
Thanks for reaching out and providing that video.
Since this behavior stops when the app is closed and reopened, you can try these steps:
