Volume and finding playlists

Volume and finding playlists

Hi,

I'm wondering about 2 things for quite some time now and hope to get some answers to those.

1. Spotify is usually not as loud as other music apps I'm using. There are even differences in sound volume between spotify songs. Is there a way to get the volume higher and in sync. ?

2. Is there a way to browse for playlists that contain searched songs?

Thanks for the reply.

Hey @mlad05

I can help with the first question you're having. 🙂

It's possible to set songs to play at the same volume level. You just have to go to Spotify Preferences through View menu (Ctrl - P takes you there as well), click on "Advanced Settings", go to Playback section and enable "Set the same volume level for all songs".

Spotify will still sound less loud because the loudness of the playback level has been reduced. This Reddit thread is some interesting read.

Not all platforms follow this at the same time, this leads to volume disparities, some sounding less loud than others.

About the second question of yours - Spotify doesn't really have a method for this available in the house - you can search for playlists that contain the artist, but not the specific songs.

However, there is a little website that allows you to search for songs from Spotify playlists - check it out!

The results are found by Google.

Hope this helps!
