Volume control not working

Solved!

Volume control not working

Since about a week ago, i've had constant problems with the volume settings on spotify - at first, the songs randomly went on max volume for a few seconds, and then came back to normal, but now the volume slider completely stopped working. I can move it, but the volume doesnt change, instead it's constantly on full volume. Sometimes the music keeps playing even when its set to volume off. I tried reinstalling the app, turning hardware accel both on and off, reloading the app, reseting and nothing is working. I am at a loss atp and the app is unusable, because not even windows volume controls work.

Hi, you don't have to uninstall synapse to resolve this problem, to solve the problem go to windows sound properties > your razer speaker > enhancements > click on disable all enhancements. There is no other way to solve this problem with razer headphones right now.

Iโ€™m having the same exact issue with Spotify on Windows 11. It completely ignores the Windows volume level until it hits zero, and then it mutes. But if I raise the volume just to 2, Spotify suddenly blasts back at its previous in-app level. This is insane! If we wanted separate volume control, Windows already has a feature for adjusting individual app volumes. We donโ€™t even care about Spotifyโ€™s in-app volume slider, and now itโ€™s overriding the system volume? Thatโ€™s completely crazy.

Itโ€™s 2025, and instead of fixing bugs, weโ€™re stuck fighting pointless new "features" and settings. Just like we're lab rats forced to report these half-baked "beta" changes that ruin the experience for everyone. Not cool, Spotify. Not cool.
