Volume slider has no impact on volume when using Motu 8pre FireWire interface

Brief description:

The slider on the bottom right of the Spotify desktop client can be changed but does not affect the volume. This is noticeable for all states of the slider. Attachment 1 shows the connection diagram.

Steps to reproduce this issue:

None. Just open up Spotify to hear all music at full volume.

Steps already tried:

-Reinstalling Spotify

-Change Hardware acceleration on/off

Devices:

Desktop pc; Windows 7 professional 64 bit (latest updates installed)

Motu 8pre FireWire

Spotify account:

Premium!!!

Software:

Spotify 1.0.50.41368.gbd68dbef

Motu Audio Driver (for 8pre + win): 4.0.6.6814

This is a Spotify issue! Tried YouTube on Firefox, Windows Media Player and Audacity as reference. The volume controls are working there!

To change the volume of Spotify you have to change the windows volume or the volume of the interface. 😞
