Web Player a total disaster

Solved!

Web Player a total disaster

It is amazing that with so many people complaining about problems with Web Player they don't fix the problem or allow us to just quit this disastrous option. I DON'T want Web player. It messes my Spotify program in windows 10. Songs keep skipping when Web Player is active in available devices and there is no way to just click the Web Player and quit it. Such a simple task it getting so many people a headache.

I am not renovating my suscription till they fix this issue.

Hey @mastix

The Spotify web player is a website that can be opened in your internet browser. Basically a lightweight version of Spotify client that you don't need to install. It resides in this address: https://open.spotify.com/

However, if you are not using it, you should not see that being active in Spotify Connect.

It sounds like someone has got access to your Spotify account and is using your account. I recommend following the steps in this article to secure your account.

Note: if you have Facebook connected to your account, but you didn't create your Spotify account with Facebook, you'll need to change passwords for both Facebook and Spotify.

Let me know how it goes ๐Ÿ™‚
