My Question or Issue:
Hello,
I received an email notification about needing to update my desktop app, because my current version would be outdated on May 12th.
I did and am now running Spotify for Windows 1.2.9.743.g85d9593d
Nevertheless, I received anothe message today "reminding" me to update my desktop app.
I was unable to find what the right version would be (!). Sorry if there was an obvious place to find it that was not obvious to me.
Can someone please confirm that I now have the latest version installed and hence will be able to keep using it after May 12th?
I hope the bug is in the central app version detection or the automated notification emails, not in my app...
Thank you!

Hey folks,
Thanks for reaching out.
The latest version as of today is 1.2.10. Is it possible you're logged in on another desktop device using an older one?
Looking forward to your replies.
I have the exact same issue, just reinstalled it now to be sure, on the same version.

Hey MihailY,
Yes, that was the issue for sure:
I have an old laptop I do not use anymore, with Spotify on it, as well.
Also, the version I am running on my current machine is now up-to-date and I can see the according UI changes.
Finally, I did not receive another email notification about needing to update.
So, I think this is complelety solved for me now. Thank you so much!!!
Best!
I found an update button and I'm currently on version 1.2.10.760.g52970952. However, the UI seems exactly the same as before. Am I on the correct version?
Hi @Zygecks,
Thanks for the post.
The new UI is being slowly rolled out to all users. This means that you'll get it eventually, but we can't say for sure when it's going to be rolled out on 100%.
Cheers.
I received a UI update, but then the interface reverted back to the old version and I am unsure why.

Hey folks! I am muting this, my issue having been solved. I will not reply to any more comments.
Good luck with your update issues. Best!
Just wanted to update but I got the new UI already, I'll mute this thread now.
Hello Spotify Community,
It appears that you're running the Spotify for Windows version, which you updated in response to the notification. While you've taken the necessary steps, it's unfortunate that you received another update reminder. This might be a glitch in the app's version detection or notification system. To ensure you're using the latest version and avoid potential issues, it's advisable to download or visit Spotify Premium on PC. This should help resolve any confusion and ensure uninterrupted usage beyond...Good To Shared.
Best Regards!
