What's up with local files management?

I've setup a cloud account so I can sync my local files accross my home and computer pc's, everything's working fine until from nowhere spotify started removing my local files without any criteria despite they were on the same exact place as before and suffered 0 changes, I eventually resetted everything, cleared this and that, and did fresh installs, all that stuff, but this happened again, in case you're wondering I'm using Win7 and Win10.

At the time it's impossible to manage local files with the desktop app on a reliable way, am I the only one with this issue?
