When I hit next song while listening to an album, it skips to an old album.

I queued a reggae album earlier today, and ever since I hit the "next song" button on any album, it goes back to the reggae album.

Sounds like you had some leftover tracks in the queue from the reggae album. The Add to queue button puts the songs under the Next in queue section, which has playback priority over the stuff under Next from. You can clear these with the Clear queue button.
