Why does my spotify desktop app turn black whenever i move my mouse?

Whenever i open the desktop app and try to put on some music with my mouse, the screen turns black in 2 seconds. Happens again and again whenever i touch my mouse. It does not happen with any other apps or anything on my pc.

This is odd. Have you already tried performing a clean reinstall of the app? This is often an overlooked step, but it can help remove any cache that might be causing trouble. 

If this doesn't do the trick, could you give it a try using the web player to see if the same thing happens?
