Windows 10 App won't launch

My Question or Issue

I am running the microsoft store version of Spotify. Since about a week ago, the app won't launch. Both the app and windows 10 are up to date.

The non-store version of the app runs fine if I install that, but I want to use the store version and its benefits. If I try to start it, nothing happens apart from the cursor flickering a little.

I have tried resetting the app, repairing it and reinstalling it. Nothing. I have tried restarting my PC. Still nothing.

Please help.

Are you still experiencing this or was this just temporary?

If yes, I'd suggest you use the regular Spotify app instead of the Windows store version. There are no benefits in using the Windows store version other than getting the upgrades from the store instead of Spotify. Or am I missing something?
