Windows 10 app doesn't load, can't repair or uninstall

Hi - I'm making this post as a last resort as I'm not sure what else to do to solve this issue, and I can no longer listen to Spotify on my desktop; hoping someone can point me in the right direction...

Ever since my Spotify desktop app was "updated" to the native Windows 10 app, I haven't been able to launch the application. Nothing appears in Task Manager and the process never effectively runs.

I tried the Repair, Reset and Uninstall options in the Settings panel, however none of these options work:

I also tried uninstalling the app using Revo Uninstaller, which allowed me to remove all files, folders and registry keys for the application, however the icon remains on my PC (although now I can't click it, only right click for settings).

With that, I attempted to remove the app using PowerShell, however it won't remove itself due to a corrupt manifest:

Any assistance you folks are able to provide would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you for reaching out in the Community. We're sorry to hear about this.

In this case we suggest that you try with an clean reinstall to make sure there's no old cache files causing this.

Keep us posted. We're always one reply away.

Cheers!
