My Question or Issue

In the past, when using the Desktop App on my Windows 10 PC to control music streaming from my Google Home Mini, I've been able to have full control and play without shuffle, play what I want when I want. However, today, I've loaded up the Desktop App and I am streaming from my Home, but I cannot turn off shuffle. I have a Free account, but the only issue that's provided in the past is giving me adverts which I have no issue with. Is there any way to fix my shuffle issue? I can turn it off when using just my PC without streaming from my Home.

Hey there @YaLadCyborg

Thanks for reaching out - we’re here to help!

Keep in mind that Shuffle Play is the default playback mode of a free Spotify account. You can also listen to any playlist via shuffle or select any track on playlists without the Shuffle icon when using the free service.

However, if you were able to turn off the random shuffling feature in the past, it's possible that you have both free and Premium Spotify account. In such a case we'd suggest you head to this help page. Make sure you check all the troubleshooting steps and especially the ones for finding other accounts.

Hope this helps. Keep us posted.
