Windows client will not open, windows 8

My Question or Issue

Spotify will not start/open. When I try to start spotify the window will not open, and no processes are run. Spotify process starts briefly and then quits, no window shown.
Have uninstalled/restarted/emptied appdata several times, no difference. Nothing written to eventlog and cannot find any spotify logs. Have tried disabling firewalls.

This happened after a spofity update. Web client works fine.

Any suggestions?

Re-installed client again and suddenly it worked. I don't know why, but problem solved 🙂
