Previous thread here. I cannot reply to it, and nearly all its problems and solutions are no longer current.

For years we have seen playlist folders behave strangely when moved about within other folders, and we had various workarounds and occasionally a fix. This one's a little different. If I create or place a folder within another folder, and place it at the top of the stack, it cannot be moved. Attempting to move it breaks all moving of folders and playlists until the client is restarted.

The workaround is to stick a playlist above the folder. It can now be moved normally without causing disruption.
