how to restore previous song files?

hey everyone, earlier this morning i took my MP3 download of Porter Robinson - Fellow Feeling (Chet Porter Flip) and imported it into my library and playlists pretty easily with no issues, until i realized that spotify had taken it upon itself to take the original Fellow Feeling by Porter in my library and just replace the file with the flip i had just imported. i tried removing the local file from my library and playlists, restarting spotify and my computer, and despite me not being able to find any trace of the song on spotify anymore, i can't get the original song to restore its previous version. any ideas on what to do?
