interface all messed up after minimizing spotify window

I just installed Spotify for Windows version 1.0.75.483.g7ff4a0dc.

Everything is fine when opening the app. however, if I minimize it and then maximize it, then the interface becomes.. messed up. See the attached screenshots.

This is a real showstopper because the "normal" usage is to minimize Spotify and work on something else while listening music.

Later edit. Disabling hardware acceleration seems to fix this issue.

I currently have a Lenovo W541 Thinkpad laptop with Nvidia Quadro K1100M graphics card, latest drivers.
