with the new update for windows the "desktop overlay with media keys" feature is showing disabled yet still showing up,
i can disable it but if i reopen spotify the settings revert back but it still shows disabled.

Same for me, tried uninstalling and installing again but without succes.
If you want a work around (this will hide the volume pop-up for everything) install HideVolumeOSD.

This problem should be addressed already... I should not have to user 3rd parties tools to solve a problem so simple...
