Hi.
I've tried editing my playlists' description, but as soon as I close the app all the changes disappear.
Has this happened to anyone else?
Hey @vlimao.
That's odd. What Windows and Spotify version are you using?
Also, does the same happen if you launch the Spotify app as the administrator? Give it a shot and let us know how it goes.
Cheers.
Hi, @Alfredo.
I'm using Windows 8.1 and the Spotify app updated yesterday to version 1.0.84.344.gfc674f6f.
And yes, this also happens when I open Spotify as the administrator. I've tried updating two different playlists a couple of times, but it reverts changes made to the descriptions after logging out.
That's odd.
Let's try using a different Spotify account on your desktop to see if it behaves the same. You can try this regardless of the subscription type.
Keep us posted.
Hi, Alfredo.
I've just tried it with my secondary account and it behaves the same way.
Thanks for getting back to us with this info!
Do you have access to a different internet connection you could use? If not, you can try tethering your phone's data plan to your desktop to try it out.
Also, if you have access to a different desktop/laptop, try using it to see if it updates.
All the best.
