spotify skipping local file songs when the song end

ok a week ago spotify suddenly out of nowhere coudn't play local file songs until i downloaded this: http://www.free-codecs.com/mpeg_layer_3_codec_download.htm (for those who have the problem) but... as you see from the title it just... skip them. yes, i moved them to another; yes, i deleted the local file.what-ever-it-is; yes, i turned it OFF and ON again. but nothing works. help!

Can you try changing the file type to a different file type? You can check the supported file types here.
