why is spotify launching on startup?

my spotify keeps launching on startup on windows 10 even though i made sure in settings to select no for auto startup? what the **bleep**

Besids selecting for no auto startup in Spotify preferences, I suggest that you do the following:

1. Right-click a blank area of the taskbar, then choose “Task Manager“.
2. Select the “Startup” tab.
3. Right-click “Spotify“, then select “Disable“.
