[Account] Quickly switch between saved Accounts

I was really hoping this was a feature and I'm actually surprised it's not, especially with the Spotify Family plans. Not all members of the family have their own specific computers, so it seems obvious that there should be an option to quickly switch between accounts without the whole hassle of logging in and out.

It's been years, when is this happening? After getting the whole family on the plan, it's an absolute necessity!

Easy account switching is an abolute must. Also it is very annoying to not see other devices in the network when they currently use different accounts. Each family member has his/her account and would like to play its playlists on the stereo controlled from his/her smartphone. But thats not possible because one can only transfer playing music to other devices when they run spotify under the same account.

This is close to becoming a deal breaker in our 5 user household. We love Spotify, but this is a major pain.

Switching between office - home - family accounts is a pain now.

I've been waiting for this feature for quite a while, but I'm always looking for a working solution. Today, I found one that works for me. At least in my house, we have an android tablet hooked up to a stereo and this is the device is what we use to play Spotify by using "available devices" from our phones and ipads. I've replaced this tablet with a Chromecast Audio device. Once you have that up and running, you can link your Spotify account to the Google Home account. I tied the Chromecast to MY Google account and enabled guest access. Then I installed the google home app on my wife's ipad and android phone and linked her spotify account to her Google Home account. Now, when we open up Spotify, we BOTH see the Chromecast as an available device. We can both cast spotify, so far, without any issues! We can even bump each other off if needed. Granted, I've only been using it for about an hour, but this is exactly what we were looking for. Too bad Spotify couldn't fix it on their own, but this workaround really works.

Yep - this needs to happen, and fast. Is there a timeline on it? Looks like the idea has been around for a while.

I was really suprised it didn't work like this - so much so that I was going to get the Family version but then decided not to. Come on Spotify - sort it!
