[Account] Quickly switch between saved Accounts

English:

I just ask to be able to use several different accounts from the same device.

Hey folks,

 

Thanks for coming to the Spotify Idea Exchange and voting to make this happen.

 

We're happy to announce that the option to switch between accounts is being implemented. We'll start with Android mobile devices and tablets. Remember this is slowly being rolled out for everyone, so if you don't see it now, just make sure to keep your app up to date.

At the moment, we don’t have any info to share about when this will be available for iOS users. Rest assured that any news will be posted here.

I second this idea.  My use case is that I have spotify premium for family.  I'd like to have it so when my kids use the kitchen computer for music their selections don't come into my 'recently played' or are used in my recommendation algorithm.  Netflix has this feature...very handy.

I don’t know why Spotify has not implemented this yet, is not hard to code it, and will give a great plus to all premium users, specially to the family accounts. 

 

I can’t believe that other streaming and music services have not implemented the multiple account and easy switch feature,

3 years later the feature is still missing and still not priority enough :(. I would like to use partners account but without quick user account switch on a desktop app connected to speakers, it has no sense even when I don't like that sometimes songs I don't like ends liked by my fiance...

I got an email from Spotify yesterday that they have created a new 'family listening mode" so lullabies and baby shark doesn't make it into your personalized playlists. Nothing at all mentioned about account switching.

Take (parental) control.
As the plan owner, you can control whether your family can listen to explicit content - just toggle on the Explicit Content Filter to keep eyes and ears protected from tracks flagged explicit. Unsuitable content will now appear greyed out. That's one less thing thing for you to lose sleep over... aaaaand breathe.
Your Premium benefits aren't going anywhere. All this, and still over 50 million tracks in high quality audio to enjoy on demand, offline, and on any device.

I got the same emailing. All this stuff and finally No mention on account switching. This is becoming silly.

Just had a chat with a Dutch 'support'-employee called Luigi. He basiscly says that Spotify simply doesn't care. It does not have a priority at the moment. 717 kudo's is almost nothing compared to the millions of users they have. They have another way of using Spotify in mind, which means that everybody in your family subscription logs in on their own turn and with their own device. So, my smart tv and soundbar in the living room needs to be logged in at by me, my girlfriend, my 3 year old and almost 1 year old...through a mobile phone. Come on, wth. It is my subscription, give me log-in icons like Netflix on every device. Spotify is really behind for about four years with this. I think that they somehow have issues implementing this because of how the Spotify software has developed in the last ten years. That's the only explenation that I can come up with, there must be people at Spotify that can assess the value of this request??
